going round in circles...
Listening to Over And Over from the album "The Warning" by Hot Chip
Seasons greetings one and all, except you and you and you.
Had a good christmas. Rich bought me a PSP which initially didn't work but I worked out why (it took more than switching it on, ok :) ) but as he didn't realise a memory stick is a useful thing in PSP world he didn't buy one. Bought me LocoRoco instead. So I try and play it and the firmware isn't recent enough so I connect (wirelessly) to the internet to download it and it tells me there is no memory stick to download update onto. Argh. I was annoyed. So I've had to order one: went for a 2gb card so I can rip all my dvd's and watch films and episodes of Futurama on the train. I can finally upgrade my phone tomorrow. It's about time. I'm getting a flashy one. That's all you need to know. Back to work proper tomorrow although I've been working from home today. Yes really.
Whilst in Swindon I got to catch up with Neil and Charlotte and got to hold their beautiful daughter Amelie. She is incredibly gorgeous and didn't scream when I cuddled her. In just under two weeks I will be 36 and the same age as my mother when she gave birth to me. I now believe I won't be in a position to have children and I really don't know what to do about it. I feel really quite upset about it. I really hope this putting my life on hold for someone else to realise their potential works out ok because at the moment it's really crappy.

Um... cowardly steering clear of important stuff... I got a 2GB Memory Stick Pro Duo with adaptor for just £16.99 + £6.95 (cheap!) from http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/dont4getyourmemory . I'd happily buy from him again.
My new phone is a Sony Ericsson W850i. Very nice except the stupid Walkman button is stupidly close to the 'up' button. Stupid. I keep stupidly pressing it when I don't want to.
...
You like Futurama now? Why do we have so much in common..? Stupid.

Sometimes, dear, things just work out for the best. I'd like more children too, but I don't know what's going to happen. But I'll cross my fingers for you.

If you want some help 'downgrading' your PSP to the firmware revison that lets you run games straight off the memory stick, let me know
